Destroyer77 has started a donation pool!
1 / 100
This is a donation pool for :iconmaki12: She...has had the worst luck of anyone I've known in my life so I've been trying to help her. This donation pool is mostly to help her feel better and known people can be caring, even if they don't know the person personally.

If you do know her personally and want to give her something I'd recommend a money donation, you can note her for the details.

Btw, if you want to donate points for something other than this please leave a comment associated with the points as to what you want to put it towards. Thanks :)

You must be logged in to donate.

Interests
That's right, it's story time, get out your bag of popcorn and enjoy a heartwarming (somewhat) story.

So, I didn't even plan this or anything, but after having the news of possible cancer on here I thought it'd be nice to follow-up with more pleasant news.

So, I was at work the other day and this lady came into the store, she gave me a $100 bill and told me that she wanted $20 worth of gas in the pump next to her car outside. I said alright and started to put in the information for her. Then, out of the blue...and for some reason she told me that she didn't want any of the change back from it. Now, this lady was pretty young, about my age, she seemed like she knew precisely what she was doing and was lucid. I also knew that I wasn't going to be keeping this $80 in change that she didn't want to use. I also knew that the people I worked for would definitely not allow me to keep that kind of money, especially without her saying it was for me...so I'm not sure what she was hoping the money would go towards...

So, after she said that she almost immediately went out to her car. She went inside it and stayed there for awhile, then she drove off. She hadn't pumped any gas, she had simply left. She also never came back to ask for her money back or to get her car gassed up; nothing.

But after that happened, the next lady that came in I described what had transpired with the other lady and the hundred dollars worth of money/gas never used. After I was done with the story she asked me if the money was still on the pump. I hesitated for a bit, because I knew what she was getting at, but I said yes it was. She then asked if it was just free gas for anyone, that part made me stop and think about the situation, but eventually I just said: Yes, go ahead and get the gas. It's in the same spirit that I'm sure the other lady was intending that I did this, I think her intention was to 'Pay it forward,' she just didn't go about it that well.

I was really expecting her to take a picture, a youtube camera to come in, or for her to say just kidding or something, but those are just the events that happened while I was there. Seems like a pretty admirable thing to do, I'm glad I could help continue that for her too while letting that person know what exactly happened to make it possible.

Ah, Wondersam, you're the one that donated. I think this requires a thank you song:

High above the mucky-muck, castle made of clouds,

There sits Wondersam, sitting oh so proudly.

Not much to say when you're high above the mucky-muck.

Yeah, yeah.

Wondersam, what is the secret of your power?

Wondersam, won't you take me far away from the mucky-muck man?

Now it's time for me to tell you about Young Nastyman,

archrival and nemesis of Wondersam, with powers comparable to Wondersam.

What powers you ask? I dunno how 'bout the power of flight?

That do anything for ya? That's levitation, holmes.

How 'bout the power to kill a yak from 200 yards away...

with mind bullets! That's telekinesis, Kyle.

How 'bout the power to move you?

History of Wondersam and Young Nastyman,

Riggah-goo-goo, riggah-goo-goo.

A secret to be told, a gold chest to be bold,

And blasting forth with three-part harmony, yeow!

Wondersam, what is the secret of your power?

Wondersam, won't you take me far away from the mucky-muck man?

Well, Wondersam and Young Nastyman joined forces;

they formed a band the likes of which have never been seen,

and they called themselves Tenacious D. That's right,

Me! And KG!

That's me.

We're now Tenacious D!

Come fly with me, fly!

Wondersam, what is the secret of your power?

Wondersam, won't you take me far away from the mucky-muck man,

Oh!

Take my hand!

Young Nastyman, and we'll fly!

Bring out your broadsword.

There's the hydra.

Slice his throat!

And grab his scroat.

You take the high road,

I'll take the low.

There, the crevasse,

Fill it with your mighty juice.

Well, active to a point. I kind of stopped using it as much when I took on a job and had less time to be on here. I have made some very good friends on here and one might actually be visiting me from Serbia sometime, which is kinda exciting....not to mention it's a hell of awhile away and quite an effort on their part. Beyond that I'm still dealing with a medical problem, but everything is fairly ok. I hope you're doing well too
